General Notes For Wash's Memories
Know what happens when an AI commits suicide in your head? IT DOES A LOT OF FUCKED UP THINGS IS WHAT IT DOES. Especially when the AI embodies memories.
First off, basically Wash's memories are full HD more or less photographic memory. It's less normal remembering and more like vividly reliving and being able to examine all the perceivable details around you.
Second is throughout the memory is Wash's feelings for Tex. Overall, he is very deliberately shoving feelings into a little box, but he's very aware they're THERE. Like the fact Epsilon was in love/obsessed with Allison/Texas. (There's actually some cut dialogue where Wash basically says he feels the same thing as Epsilon does for Texas, S A N I T Y.) Of course Wash also knows Texas is Not Really Allison and it's fucked up. Basically Wash has a bunch of feelings that aren't his and he's a compartmentalizing little shit.
Such is the same in reaction to Meta except those are his feelings. He's not surprised by the action at the end, but Maine WAS his friend before he was the Meta and he was kind of hoping he might have....recovered from his own insanity. So that's another bunch of complicated feelings he needed to shove away to Deal With Shit.

Maybe this is why I was surprised by the dating thing. =|
But why didn't I know Church was an AI? Why was he alone for fourteen months? Did we know Texas was an AI originally, or was it something else? Why is Tex Texas instead of a Greek Letter and why is Church Church? Why does the name Church fuck with my head? WHAT DOES. ANYTHING. Why do I have all these feelings for Texas? Does this have to do with my memory thing? Is Texas the sister Theta mentioned?
SO MANY QUESTIONS.
Also who the fuck is the Director and what did he do to piss everyone off and why don't I care even though I might? Know things???
OKAY, BUT THINGS ACTUALLY LEARNED.
He was after Church/Epsilon. For some reason, that he doesn't know, but might have to do with not getting arrested. Information maybe? He kind of didn't want to be a dick to Epsilon, but nope, he's done, everything else is secondary to finishing this thing.
Tex was believed dead, but I guess not. But is AI, so yeah.
Meta. The Meta has some...AI addiction maybe. And that's why he's broken and hurting and the fact he took Tex means he's not better and that means I have to fight him probably. Which means Maine might be actually dead and... ):
Doc continues to be a ridiculous person trying to help everyone. Puma actually kind of likes him, he's so nice.
ALSO. SURE DID. TRY TO FUCK OVER CIRCINUS. HAHA. YEAH. THIS. WON'T BE AN AWKWARD TERRIBLE THING. AT ALL. NNNNNOPE.
